Weddings at a Camden Maine Bed and Breakfast

When we married, we were put off by the kind of statement the typical hall-style wedding made. We wanted to start off right and to us that meant a place more comfortable and homey, a place special yet an extension of our families, rather than a decorated concrete box run by business people. After much deliberation, we decided to celebrate under a tent in my brother's backyard; my sister and brother-in-law, and best men did most of the cooking, and everyone just loved it despite the fact that it was some distance from most of our guest's houses. Many of our guests, who had celebrated their weddings in traditional halls, told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Coastal Garden Weddings

The Inn and grounds of the Camden Windward House Bed & Breakfast, located just across the street from the Amphitheater, and within a block of scenic Camden Harbor can be the setting for your Coastal Garden Wedding, Camden Destination Wedding, reception or intimate event. The WindJammer Fleet and the independent schooner boats make for a wonderful rehearsal dinner or tour for your guests. The boats can do special lighthouse or sunset cruises. The Inn can accommodate up to 20 nightly guests. Our Inn is a part of the Premier Inns of Camden that consist of 12 Inns that are all walking distance to the ceremony and reception. The Coastal Garden can accommodate parties of up to 140 people. A smaller tent can be arranged for parties under 100 people. Smaller elegant parties of up to 20 guests can be hosted in the Maine House of the Inn. The Inn is right in town so once they are here, they can walk (or hike) everywhere.
